PROS

• They give every way to contact them and even have a form on their site to email them from and they’ll reply to your personal email.

• FAQ’s are good.

• Cute products!

• Offer vegan shoes.

• You can get a quick view of the product just by putting the cursor over the picture.

• Can chat with a customer service rep online, live.

• Descriptions of products are brief and to the point.

• They give heel height.

• Can click on image to enlarge it.

• Many styles of shoes! Love them!

• Links to the company’s other labels are available on the site – Little Laundry Shoes (kids), Vintage Laundry Shoes, On Your Feet Shoes. 2 of the other sites have a similar look to the main Chinese Laundry site.

• The “Search” page has an option called “As Seen In” where you can look up shoes that you have seen in various magazines and such.

• Store locater.

• “Shoe Helper” helps you find shoes by entering a size, style, color, and material. You can even select to search only man made materials (vagan). This is very nice for the customer when they need something specific but don’t want to waste time browsing.

• You can also search for a shoe by its given name, if you know it.

CONS

• Animated home page.

• Menus are very small on the home page.

• When I put the cursor over “Shop” on the home page, only half of the drop-down menu showed up.

• Small print all over the site. Not much smaller than most sites, but small enough that I got tired of looking at it.

• Cannot select to view all items on one page.

• The quick view of the product can also be a pain because as you move the cursor across the page the quick view for every product you cross pops. The quick view is nice but should only show when you linger over a product.

• When you enlarge an image it would be nice to be able to zoom in on details. It would also be nice if they showed the shoe from different angles, not just one.

QUESTIONS

• They offer gift certificates. Do they mean gift cards? Or actual paper certificates? – Gift cards are so much more convenient these days.

BOTTOM LINE: I have bought their shoes before and would do so again. Now I know they have a good website to shop from.
